Engineering & Integration Solution Architect (Job Number:437884) Description: SAIC is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to fill a Solutions Architect role supporting a wide variety of projects within the National Security environment. You will join our highly energized team as we develop and deploy innovative Systems Engineering and Integration (SEI) Solutions to a wide variety of programs and customers. In this position, you will exercise thought leadership by leveraging your extensive Systems Engineering experience to develop compelling technical solutions enabled by SAIC's advanced SE&I solution portfolio. You will be responsible for capturing and analyzing stakeholder and system requirements, facilitating discussions, and understanding the full range of our SE&I solutions that fully leverage our unique and rapidly growing model-based engineering culture. You will engage with other engineers, capture managers, program managers, and others as you contribute to the development of innovative Systems Engineering solutions. The successful candidate will have experience contributing to and/or leading aspects of the proposal development lifecycle such as: technical book boss, basis of estimate development, past performance, staffing strategy development, etc. The solutions you develop require the ability to synthesize requirements and capabilities into the creative application of SAIC's available processes, tools, and people. You must be an effective communicator and leader capable of meeting challenging deadlines and deliverable expectations through a structured gate review process. Basic Qualifications * Broad systems engineering experience (e.g. system architecture and design, systems documentation, system requirements, CONOPS, systems verification) * Proven ability to work effectively and collaborate in a dynamic, fast paced, team oriented environment * Strong organizational skills and the ability to independently execute work tasks in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment * Strong written and oral communication skills * Recent experience supporting programs in the Intelligence Community, specifically the NRO and NGA. * Familiarity of the Federal Acquisition Regulations * Possesses a current TS/SCI security clearance Desired Skills * Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering practices and concepts * Practical experience with IEEE 15288 * INCOSE Certification (ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP) dependent on experience. * Experience leading SE teams through all phases of the systems engineering lifecycle * Experience or familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework Environment SAFe * Experience or familiarity with ITIL Qualifications: TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience.
