Scope: Provides leadership and direction to the manufacturing training team. Analyzes training trends and results, develops strategies and methodologies to improve training effectiveness. Monitors training certifications, develops schedule to ensure re-certifications are completed on time. Facilitates New Employee Orientation, develops schedule and training material. Manages facility Change Communication process. Works on special projects as assigned. Duties and Responsibilities: * Works with the plant management team to determine strategic plans that identify global and departmental training needs. * Identify Core Competencies of incumbent workforce (i.e. Handling) * Manages plant training budget to ensure efficient use of training dollars. * Evaluates training effectiveness of training classes/seminars, and provides recommendations for improvement. * Provides management with training progress reports, and evaluates training progress to the overall goal. * Maintains Training Certifications, and all other training records for the plant. * Develop/maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual training plans. * Creates & Updates training materials to reflect current business needs. * Work with Corporate Training Manager to ensure proper implementation of training materials/content. * Works with outside vendors to schedule and coordinate in-house training. * Creates computer based training programs. * Works with process owners and documentation to ensure that training materials are kept up to date. * Develops & Trains in-house classes. * Leads and coordinates training projects. * Creates work instructions, job aids, forms, and visual aids. * Manages the in-house Training App Program (daily/weekly) * Manage Change Communication process. * Assist Human Resources with job fair interviews and hiring. * Manage New Employee Orientation. * Participates in annual ISO audit. * Manage and archives all Active Training records * Manage and archives all Term training records * Continue to manage project/assignments given by Sr. Management Essential Knowledge and Skills: * Able to read and write and speak in English. * Follow written and verbal instruction. * Operating a computer. * Knowledge of training concepts and principles. * Developing and implanting effective training plans and strategies. * Creating a Win-Win environment. * Facilitating change management. * Presentation and communication skills. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Knowledge of AS400. * Ability to take the lead on projects. * Work with cross-functional teams. * To build strong relationships, internally and externally. * Manage multiple projects. Education and Experience: * Associate degree in business related field required, * Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience) * 3-5 years' experience in training a plus Export Statement: Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation.
