JOB SUMMARY The Logistics Engineer IV manages and applies all Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) functional disciplines in a Joint Services environment for ground penetrating RADAR (GPR) and chemical and biological detection systems and other systems as directed. RESPONSIBILITIES Prepares and delivers ILS presentations for internal and customer audiences Leads and participates in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment as lead and subject matter expert on ILS Document, execute, and oversees Technical Manual development IAW latest versions of MIL-STD-40051-2 and MIL-STD-1222. Familiar with XML and MIL-HDBK-2361C Leads internal validation and supports customer verification events for TMs. Executes and oversees training development IAW MIL-STD-29612B Maintains and oversees an Logistics management Information (LMI) data effort and LMI database Leads development Logistics Support Analysis Record (LSAR) reports and has an understanding of MIL-STD-1388. Leads Provisioning effort that includes the preparation of Provisioning Technical Documentation Leads Maintenance Planning activities including Logistics/Maintainability Demonstration (LMD) Prepares validation/verification/LMD plans and reports as applicable Special projects and other duties as assigned to include development of commercial user manuals and training packages. Leads or supports RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) analysis and reporting Supports the development of Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) Reviews engineering drawings and CNs Special projects and other duties as assigned All employees are expected to be in compliance with government and corporate laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY N/A EDUCATION Bachelorâs degree in Engineering discipline, or eight or more years of experience developing ILS products in an engineering environment EXPERIENCE Ten to fifteen years of experience working in a DoD environment in an ILS capacity ADDITIONAL SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS Must have ability to obtain and/or maintain DoD clearance Able to interface at all levels within Government, company, and subcontractors Proficient in all MS Office applications Knowledge of Counter - Improvised Explosive Device (C-IE or Ground Penetrating RADAR is preferred Preferred knowledge/experience with the following software: SLICWave LMI software and ProjectLink Windchill (Reliability Analysis) COMPASS (Level of Repair Analysis) Arbortext (XML technical manuals) Adobe Pro and Dreamweaver PowerLog-J2 (Provisioning) WEBFLIS (Provisioning) - provided by Dice Logistics, Logistics Management, DOD, Provisioning,Defense, Radar, Sensors, Electronics
