Oath's Collaborative Media Engineering Team provides comprehensive engineering support for a range of internal collaboration/media tools including Video/Web Conferencing, Digital Signage, enterprise media distribution, and complex AV systems (Event Space, NOCs, Auditoriums, etc?). This team is looking for a Senior Programmer that is a team player with good communication and advanced skill sets who is flexible, open to new ideas and technologies and can operate in a fast paced, dynamic environment. The Senior Media Systems Programmer will provide comprehensive software development and engineering support for OATH's global enterprise needs. The primary responsibilities include planning, developing, testing and implementing control system code, GUI's, audio files, and other equipment-related configurations. This individual would also perform other engineering tasks, in-house testing and on-site commissioning at both national and international locations for complex AV & Media systems as needed. The Control System Programmer will be able to successfully handle multiple tasks/projects, think independently and effectively interact with Oath employees and external parties ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Develop and maintain custom control solutions for multi-faceted AV, media and collaboration systems. * Design, develop and maintain GUI's for a variety of systems * Troubleshoot and debug complex AV systems both remotely and on-site * Provide lab & on-site commissioning, hardware/installation troubleshooting and problem resolution * Peer Review code from fellow programmers to ensure accuracy, efficiency and compliance * Maintain software and project documentation in company databases * Maintain program version control and adhere to configuration management * Develop and maintain technical and end user training material and documentation for deployed systems * Complete projects and assigned on time. * Travel to Oath office locations as required (both US and International) OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES * Design a wide variety of Audio Visual and VTC solutions including enterprise level VTC and collaboration systems, conference rooms, classrooms, operations centers, auditoriums, digital signage and streaming video systems. * Provide procurement support including developing and writing Statements of Work, bid-packages and procurement documentation; including bills of materials, scopes, technical responses and drawings. * Create drawings and technical documentation as needed * Perform detailed site-surveys, determine business unit/customer requirements, and conduct needs-analysis meeting with customers. * Attend company meetings, represent the BU, take notes and report back to the team. * Provide critical review of vendor proposals and comprehensive oversight of vendor efforts during projects * Supervise and manage tasks and resources to meet project objectives * Assist with the implementation of AV solutions as needed. * Configure equipment, set up audio DSP's, load pre-compiled code, debug, troubleshoot, perform quality control & remediation, closeout and commission systems on-site as needed. * Proven ability to engineer quick turn AV solutions and work within compressed deadlines, as needed * Understand and apply industry standards and best practices * Provide Technical walkthroughs and training of customers * Knowledge of configuring, testing operating, and maintaining video infrastructure components * Understanding convergence of IT, AV & UC technologies * Ability and willingness to mentor other team members and share knowledge * Other duties and responsibilities as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Ability to engineer standardized, modular code, reusable code for enterprise wide deployments * Working familiarity with CAD type software and design tools * Environment demands a detail-oriented, organized and self-motivated individual * Must be an analytical and strategic thinker and possess a strong ability to multi-task * Set an example though work ethic, attendance, responsibility, quality, attitude, initiative and communication * Effective time management and attention to detail * Must have and cultivate in other employees, a positive, productive attitude * Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, executives, officials, vendors and the general public * Ability to troubleshoot and solve project related issues. * Ability to generate timely, concise, and effective business correspondence. * Ability to read and comprehend project technical documents including, architectural documentation * Ability to interact with employees, customers and colleagues in a professional manner. * Knowledge of configuring, testing operating, and maintaining collaboration and conferencing infrastructure components * Understanding convergence of IT and AV technology and UC as a Service * Experience in design of AV and VTC solutions * Experience in programming and integrating with lighting control systems * Working knowledge of IT and network engineering practices as it applies to AV/Media solutions * Knowledge of basic project management best practices CERTIFICATIONS / EDUCATION * Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience * 5+ years of Crestron control system & UI programming and development * Certification in Crestron Programming (Master Preferred) * Avixa (InfoComm) CTS PREFERRED * Cisco or COMP TIA network certifications * Biamp, Clear-One, QSC or BSS certifications * Design or Field engineering experience strongly preferred * Avixa (InfoComm) CTS-D or CTS-I TRAVEL * This position requires travel up to 50% both inside and outside the continental United States * Valid US Passport * Reliable Transportation * Valid US Driver's license SECURITY REQUIREMENTS This position may be subject to a background check and employment verification.
