Description:Job Summary Leidos is looking for a seasoned Logistics Officer to support various classified customers. The successful candidate will be required to perform whole range of logistics functions including OCONUS deployments to hardship posts. Provide logistics support in inventory, surveying, pre-planning, forecasting, coordinating, ordering and pre staging equipment for deployment. Primary Responsibilities Leidos is looking for an experienced Logistics Officer to support a classified customer. The successful candidate will be required to perform the following duties: * Maintain logistical records associated with procurement, relocation and shipment of hardware and associated software components. * Perform warehousing and storage, packing, crating and shipping for: generic integrated network baseband system in preparation for site-specific programming and shipment. * Manage customer based queues, schedule and assigs tasks to meet configuration requirements, * Ensure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectively, * Identify and correct problems in the procurement process, * Track, receive and inventory all items ordered, * Ensures materials are placed in the proper consolidation areas, * Schedule final inventory of material prior to shipment, * Supply the project coordinators with a final listing of all equipment moved from the consolidation areas into Sponsor shipping channels, * Procure, on an immediate basis, those materials that are found to be deficient in supply, and which will affect the Sponsor's mission or schedule if not restored to operating levels, * Handle field returns. Qualifications:Basic Qualifications * TS/SCI with favorable polygraph* B.S. in Logistics, Transportation, Industrial Distribution, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or--8 years relevant work experience in the military or industry. *--Eight or more years of experience in a full range of logistical and supply chain management support tasks. * OCONUS travel required Leidos Overview:Leidos is a global science and technology solutions leader working to solve the world's toughest challenges in the defense, intelligence, homeland security, civil, and health markets.
