Provide high quality instruction in the clinical and didactic areas of nursing; serve as an adviser and counselor for undergraduate students; maintain clinical and teaching competencies through continuing education and other forms of professional development; participate in undergraduate program meetings and department/school/campus committees and events as required.Applicants must have: (1) a doctorate in nursing or be ABD with proof of doctorate required by date of appointment; (2) eligibility for unencumbered DC and VA nursing licensure; (3) experience working with diverse and underserved populations; (4) clinical expertise in Health Assessment, Med-Surg, and/or Community Health; (5) one or more years of teaching experience in a nursing program.
