The MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR is responsible for leading the firmâs marketing efforts and positioning the firm as leading experts in the outsourced accounting, business advisory, and technology consulting markets. The Marketing Director will strategically promote the firm to achieve marketing goals and provide effective leadership to the marketing team to fulfill the firm leadershipâs marketing project priorities. He or she will ensure all employees are inspired, motivated, and guided to contribute fully to Cordia Partnersâ vision, goals, and objectives. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Â â Â Provide strategic consulting to senior leaders on current market trends, strategy, and services.
â Â Coordinate media contact and ensure that the company consistently gets print and digital coverage.
â Â Publish and write press releases, make presentations and negotiate with media. â Â Manage and fully leverage the firms sales and marketing technology tools including Hubspot (CRM, social media, SEO platform, content management), and WordPress (website). â Â Manage marketing team with clear guidance and direction, executing critical tasks effectively to meet deadlines. â Â Integrate current social media strategy and online marketing campaigns to enhance the firmâs branding by updating content, images, blogs, and announcements on website.
â Â Oversee the development of collateral materials and information for submittals, qualifications, presentations, proposals, and brochures. â Â Maintain editorial control on all marketing and public relations collateral that is released on behalf of the company.
â Â Establish marketing budget and ensure budgeted expenses and return on investment targets are met for the marketing projects under their control.
â Â Act as an internal consultant to provide solutions and prioritize marketing initiatives. â Â Ensure the firmâs brand and marketing standards are consistently presented to internal and external clients. â Â Review and develop goals, objectives, budgets, and strategies for new business. â Â Coordinate and manage marketing outreach activities related to targeted clients or prospects to maintain positive relationships. â Â Promote intellectual discussions and cross pollination of relevant marketing ideas and strategy amongst senior leaders. â Â Prepare status reports on project marketing efforts to keep partners apprised of actions, schedules, prospects, and related events.
â Â Work collaboratively with the business development team on lead generation, and follow up with practice leads on opportunities.
â Â Develop marketing database to track performance for inquiries, leads, proposals, target mailing lists, and market intelligence regarding prospective customers. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS â Â University degree from an accredited program in Marketing, Business, Communications, or relevant field to the marketing profession. â Â Extensive experience working with senior leaders developing, presenting, and executing marketing strategies.
â Â Experience with press release, direct mail, internet, website, and social media marketing campaigns.
â Â Critical problem solving and strong interpersonal communication skills. â Â Experience developing marketing collateral materials.
â Â Experience in an accounting or technology consulting firm or other professional service environment preferred. â Â 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including the strategic use of social media.
