The successful Electronics Technician has experience with the assembly and inspection of circuit boards and electronic harnesses.? He or she also?designs and develops information processing hardware, computer systems and electrical components.1. Proposes and follows industry best practices for manufacture of electronic fabrications and assemblies.2. Experience with manual soldering tools, and wave-solder ovens.3. Experience designing for manufacturability (DFM) reviews.4. Oversees operations and maintenance of assembly and equipment processes.5. Assembles products using industry best practices and peforms 100% inspection.6. Interprets schematics, select parts, and performs inspection of products.7. Establishes and documents assembly procedures from point of production through completion.8. Conducts research, design, development and testing of information processing hardware such as computer chips, circuit boards, computer systems and electrical components.9. Designs new products and/or modifies existing products.10. Develops technical specifications for production.11. Analyzes hardware configuration and processing solutions.12. Tests hardware performance to specifications.13. May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced hardware engineers.14. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.15.
