Job DescriptionOverviewParamount Construction Services is a leading construction contractor specializing exclusively in renovating apartment communities. To meet our aggressive growth goals, Paramount is looking for a dynamic, self-starting marketing professional to oversee all aspects of marketing and business development. Responsibilities The Marketing Manager’s goal is to generate qualified leads that Paramount’s operating and estimating teams can convert to new business. The position is not a sales job, but is directly responsible for developing leads that Paramount can convert to sales. The specific job responsibilities include the following: · Developing a marketing strategy and budget for review and approval by Paramount’s senior management. · Identifying national, regional, and local apartment owners and managers that meet our customer profile, and developing and implementing strategies to turn them into customers. · Coordinating Paramount’s participation in national, regional and company-specific trade shows. · Implementing direct mail and e-mail campaigns. · Updating Paramount’s marketing material and other collateral. · Developing and implementing a strategy for using social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) to promote awareness of Paramount. · Updating Paramount’s web site to keep it current. · Developing and implementing an efficient and effective advertising strategy. · Identifying related businesses that can use Paramount’s services, and developing approaches to market our services to them. · Other marketing initiatives as required to grow Paramount. Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:· Marketing experience, preferably with a construction or service company.· Understanding of social media and how to use it to grow a business.· Excellent verbal and written skills.· Confidence in communicating with prospective customers, vendors, etc.· An undergraduate degree in marketing or commensurate work experience. CompensationThe compensation is targeted at $50,000-$70,000 with a generous bonus package based on actual results. Some flexibility exists for the candidate that brings the right qualifications and attitude to the job.
