As a Senior Director Technical - Hardware , your role is to bring best-in-class user terminal solutions to our high-throughput ground networks. Responsibilities:? Technical development and project management for the development and delivery of advanced user terminal solutions for satellite and terrestrial IP-based communications systems Lead?and direct?a multi-functional engineering team to develop and integrate hardware, software, and network technology to satisfy customer requirements and deliverables Establish?objectives, specifications, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and contingency plans to ensure projects are executed effectively Oversee?all aspects of the development over the entire project life (concept, development, integration, qualification, acceptance, and delivery) Coordinate?across multiple corporate functions including business, operations, and manufacturing Perform?the function of technical customer interface Ensure?the timely and cost effective accomplishment of contractual commitments Monitor?and reports progress to management Basic Requirements:? Position Overview Freddie Mac has an exciting opportunity for a Development, Professional (Java/J2EE Midlevel developer) to contribute to the development and maintenance of LAS eSafe Systems. We are seeking a savvy, motivated individual who can solution the business need, design and develop enterprise software applications on Java/JEE and Weblogic platforms. As member of the IT team, the individual would delivery modules of a project within an agile framework. The individual would develop source code, unit test, participate in code reviews, deploy code to multiple environments and pair program with Senior developers. Basic Requirements * 3-5 years of experience in Solution, Design and Development of web applications using Java, WebLogic Server * Bachelor??s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent working experience * Expert building Java based applications * Extensive use of Eclipse( commonly used plug-ins and debug techniques) * Expert in J2EE patterns and ability to use commonly used on in real time situations including messaging * Significant experience developing Web Services, SOAP or RESTful patterns, preferably on Weblogic platform * Hands-on experience with XML and XSD based interfaces and tools * Hands-on experience with Build and Deployment tools and languages ?? Maven, Artifactory and Shell script * Strong backend experience to develop Data Layer using at least one of the frameworks like Hibernate, JPA etc. * Good knowledge of database concepts with working knowledge on SQL and Stored Procedures. * Participate in Requirements Analysis; design Applications based on System Requirements and Architecture, prototype if necessary, develop, unit test and deploy applications * Contribute to the enhancement of department application development/delivery standards, tools and processes. * Evangelize new technologies and tools, promote top code quality by leading design and code reviews, and solve challenging issues related to performance tuning and scalability. * Provide production support that includes evaluate defects, investigate cause and come up with solutions to addre Preferred Skills * Experience in AGILE based project development. * Experience with Oracle SOA tools, OSB and BPEL * Strong decision making and problem solving skills and experience with project delivery. * Superior communications skills, comfortable with working with middle and senior management. * Experience with Unix Shell script, Autosys, Stored Procedures, Complex SQLs tuning, data replication between databases is preferred.
